Six Updater Suite Known Issues & FAQ

When I join the server, I receive the Message: “Using Modified data file @SIX\tools\version.txt”

(And in game I receive repeated message: Version Mismatch, Client: xx, Server: xx)
You are not up-to-date. Please update your Mod.

When I try to join the server on the server list, it has a red cross and I can not join it “Bad Version”

This only happens when:

• You are not running the correct ArmA 2 Client Version.
  • You can verify the version you are running by looking at the bottom-right, at ArmA Main Menu.
• Your -mod part of ArmA Shortcut, or ArmA Launcher, is not setup correctly.

When I try to join the server, after a little while I get a message about Signatures

• Please make sure you are up-to-date with the latest Mod Version
• Please verify that you only have Verified Addons in your Mod folders
• Try rejoining, depending on the server state / load, it may be false alarm.

When joining the server i get this message: “Cannot join the session. Wrong password was given”

• You have not added the server password to your Six Updater Suite Preset.

After i add custom mods to my Six Updater Suite preset, they are gone when i re-use the suite!

• All custom mods are removed for the stock presets when synchronizing. You must create a clone preset: Instructions
