Do I have to donate? Why should I donate?

To host the 6thSense server it costs money.

Although first financed for monthly fees and upgrades by ReWired,  Nineteen & Sickboy,  nowadays we try to let as many community members as possible,  pay a small (and fair) amount to keep this community running and possibly secure future upgrades.

Current equipment

• Our servers (hardware) are very powerful and of high quality.
• Our internet connections are hosted on the most reliable Dutch internet connections,  connected to many international transits around the globe.
• Our servers are protected for powerloss,  the rooms have climate control and fire protection.
• We have a near 24/7 service,  auto restarting servers on crash,  a large admin force to administer and help where necessary and of course a large member base.
• We use a vast amount of data traffic per month…
  • Nowadays that’s around 600GB / month

What are the donations used for?

We pay around €150 a month for our data-traffic and server housing.  We of course need your help to keep this running,  but we don’t want to push you, nor do we want to make it a pay-to-play server (we never want to go that way!).  Playing for free is the best thing there is and keeps the hostility low and the fun and pleasure high!

If the monthly target is met,  overspill funds are carried over to the next month.  Donation’s may also be used for hardware or software upgrades.

Be rest assured that all donations are used for the community purposes.

Bank Transfer

You can transfer money from your bank account direct to ours,  you may incur a small currency exchange fee.

Postal Mail

You can send us money by postal mail (in an envelope).
