Mumble Information
- Step 1: Download and install the latest stable client
- Step 2: FOR ARMA 2 PLAYERS ONLY
Before starting up Mumble, please import the keys: 6thSense.eu Mumble Keys 1.2 2009-08-22 (Right click, save to download)- Please make sure Mumble is closed (not running), incase of problems, remove all your current shortcuts.
- After downloading, please run the file and allow it to import into the registry.
- You can review the keys in Mumble, “Configure” → “Settings” → “Shortcuts”. You may have to set your favorite “Push to Talk” Button again.
The keysettings don’t show up unless: “Configure” → “Advanced” is checked.
- Step 3: Connect to 6th Sense Mumble Server (Murmur)
Manual Connection
In Mumble, go to the “Server” menu, then press “Connect”
Use these details:
- Label: 6thSense.eu (can be custom)
- Address: voip-1.6thsense.eu
- If doesn’t work, try ip: 85.114.132.78
- Port: 44738
- Username: Your ArmA 2 player name!
- Password: Available on the Password Page
- Unless you have registered a user-account, then you should use your personal password instead.
- Click “Add” and then “Connect”
Or manually build a desktop shortcut link, format:
mumble://[USERNAME]:[PASSWORD]@[SERVER ADDRESS]:[PORT]/[CHANNEL]/[SUBCHANNEL]/[SUBSUBCHANNEL]/…/
Recommended Key Settings:

FAQ
- I’ve been told my quality is poor
“Configure” → “Audio Input” → “Quality”
Set the slider so that the italic text does not go above 72kbit/s
- When transmitting, my voice “cuts-off” or stops after a few seconds
“Configure” → “Network”
Uncheck “Use Quality of Service”
