How to join the server

In order for you to join and play on our Vietcong server,  you must complete the following steps:

1. Please upgrade your game to the latest version,  most maps also need the Add-on Fist Alpha
2. To play on our OPEN (no password needed) server:  Simply join!
3. Enable your voicechat ingame, see your game manual for “how to”.
   In a few words: press F12 (console) and type: set clnvoicechat 1 press enter.
4. To play on our REG passworded servers:
   • Register at the website
   • Post an introduction message in the Welcome Thread
     • Use this thread to tell the community about yourself.
   • After you played a while by the rules on our OPEN server you get verified.
   • After you are verified you will be able to read the needed password at the VC Password page
5. Install and configure Mumble.
   • Mumble is our primary VOIP client for use during missions.
6. Review and follow the rules on the Rules and Policies page.
7. You will also need to download the maps that you wish to play on our servers
